Magnificent

Madness has always been one of my favourite series, and if one thing let it down, it was the lack of any real attempt at any "camera" work, just the static views of the rooms. This Madness goes some way to rectify this, with a little more lively views, with all the panning and zooming and stuff. plus the action is all still there, better than ever, and a twist with the good old angel.

Wonderfully executed

There was a lot of potential for cheesiness in that, but instead, it was a touching and beatiful insight into his mind. Animation was a little poor, even for the cartoony style you were trying, but the backgrounds were amazing, and a brilliant contrast the the boy's real world.

Nice, sentimental thang

We've all got something we take comfort in, and this movie takes a touching look at that as this boy is comforted by his comic book fastasies. The simple colours and shots also add to this.

Graphics were poor, unfortunately, but some movies don't really need em..

Great, I loved all the references

You really captured all the intensity and excitement of a pokemon battle. haha... but really, it was fast paced, there was some great sprite work, and I loved picking out all the references to other games.... pokemon, mario, mega man, sonic, diablo, starcraft, they're all there.

Strange... but good

A very strange movie, but very well animated. Maybe you could turn your talents to a more.. conventional style of movie, or maybe some very creative sci-fi, it could be good.

Great

Brilliant... can't say I like the song, of course, but the whole concept is very good, and the song is well put together. The movie was a nice insight - kind of like a "making of" (I realise you didn't do all 6 at once, but it's nice to see all the effects and sounds you used)

Mostly Great

Very nice idea, linking the reference frames to make it look like one movie. Most of em were great, although sadly overlooking the challenge of relating it to that frame - except for a clever one by pinnicle, and then of course, tommy's. However, I did feel that pinnicle's was the poorest of the five. Synj's was funny, Dim's was a nice fast paced action thang, tommy's was a funny use of the dots, but i think shawn's was by far the best - brilliantly animated, and probably the creepiest thing i've ever seen in flash.. that's quite a feat.

one at a time....

squeezy's was alright, livecorpse's was crap, completely missed the point of the challenge, joeoutterside's egg thangs were fun and nicely stylised as were foxcato's crazy characters.

Great so far

The graphics were brilliant, not just the quality but the animation too... the voice acting could have been better, and it needs a plot but i'm sure that's on its way. Will we be looking forward to a big Lord of the Rings style siege on that big fortress? .... i hope so.

pinnicle-not too great, alan-deep.

Pinnicle's wasn't too funny or well animated, but Alan's had a great style, and... a love story shown by leaves - brilliant.

The Dude abides.
